Trusted service
I am professional, approachable and down to earth. I will help you find the solutions you need by helping you find the cause of your problems and if these are beyond your control we will work together on changing your behaviours and mind set, so that you can accept the situation as it is.
I have experience in working with people who suffer a wide range of issues from mild to severe difficulties. I have special interest in Depression, Anxiety, Grief and Traumatic loss.
Finding the right counsellor can seem daunting but having made that first step of seeing your problem and seeking help, I will be able to assist you in identifying where the issue lies and finding ways to help you cope.
I offer a discounted initial consultation at the price of £25 because we need to ensure we can work together. We will take a detailed history in order to asses your current situation. This is an important starting point so we can plan your therapy to assist you in your journey in reaching your goals. As your qualified counsellor I will enable you to feel safe and secure enough to dig deep, be honest with yourself and be ready to deal with what you might unearth. I will be with you every step of the way.
Subsequent sessions are totally in your control, I will continue to see you, usually weekly until you feel that you have achieved what you set out to accomplish.
Usually I see my clients for six to eight sessions, however this is totally up to you.
I offer day time, evening and Saturday sessions, 8am to 9pm. I will also consider out of hours morning sessions to enable you to go to work after.
I also offer home visits if you have difficulty with mobility, transport or coming to somewhere new.
I hold an Advanced Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling (Ad Dip PC) and a Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Counselling Skills (Dip Hyp PC). I am an accredited member of the National Counselling Society (MCS Acc.).
I also have completed training and practice the Rewind Technique for the treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
I have completed training in counselling the traumatically bereaved after murder and manslaughter.

I offer counselling for the traumatically bereaved after murder or manslaughter. I have received additional training from a national charity specialising in this and I can also draw from my own personal experience. Loss is a speciality, this can range from loss of a job, loss of dignity, loss of identity and loss of a pet. All of these are serious personal losses and need work on coming to terms with if you feel stuck in the feelings.
I practice the Rewind Technique for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
